Quintana Roo is een specifiek triatlon merk. In 1987 hebben ze hun eerste specifieke triathlon fiets ontwikkeld. De techniek en wetenschap is niet blijven stil staan en nu is het design getest in een windtunnel. Met hun speciale Shift+ aerodynamische vorm geeft het de mogelijkheid om snellere en meer efficiënte fietstijden neer te zetten. De gehele fiets is een combinatie van comfort, stabiliteit, performance en veiligheid. Dat is exact wat ik ervaar wanneer ik op de fiets zit. Zowel bij elke training als de 90km wedstrijdrit is voor mij comfort. Vaak hoor ik mensen klagen dat ze in een pijnlijke positie zitten of dat ze de dag erna last hebben van overal.

Verder heeft PR six Disc dus de Shift+ technologie, 40T carbon fiber frameset, remschijven die je bij alle weersomstandigheden kan vertrouwen, QR aero opslag ‘bakje’ met een achterlicht en een ingebouwd zakje voor gels tijdens de wedstrijd.
Voor de wielen heb ik er SWS Wheels laten onderzetten door Kris Seminck. 45/60 voor de nieuwsgierigen. Super zalige wielen om met te rijden en handig in onderhoudt. De wielen zijn handgemaakt en de stickers zijn aanpasbaar naar elke fiets.

Na de val in Dubai was er niks aan te zien buiten een schram op de roze sticker. Dus dit zegt al genoeg over de kwaliteit! Kris en Kim staan je zeker bij voor persoonlijk advies bij informatie en aankoop van de wielen. (Wel uitsluitend op afspraak)
